Apart From Layering In Winter Most Americans Find Morning Routines In summer Challenging, Study Finds

Not layering up during winter is what typically takes time, with over 50% of Americans admitting that the morning ritual takes longer in the summer. According to a recent survey of 2,000 persons, 49% of them claim that the summer slows them considerably during their morning commute.

Most people make routine changes during summertime

Therefore, summer is the season that most people make changes to their everyday routine, according to 56% of respondents.

The three most popular ways to change habits are to wear light, breathable clothing (41%), dedicate more time outside (39%) and eat ice cream (36%). Consequently, over two-thirds (65%) acknowledge that having access to their preferred snacks and desserts more frequently makes them happier.

The poll, which OnePoll undertook for Enlightened, also revealed that the summertime affects self-care in addition to regular times.

In the summertime, 42% of people take care of their bodies by routinely using sunblock and moisturizers, while 41% engage in seasonal delicacies such as popsicles and ice cream. For instance, 59% of those surveyed seek out ways to reward themselves each day by indulging in their preferred sweet or savory delicacy (52%), doing little to nothing (44%), or spending quality time alone (44%).

Half of Americans find it hard to treat themselves through the summer

Although over half of respondents (54%) say it’s harder to indulge throughout the summer, roughly one-third (34%) say they typically don’t have room for it. In comparison, 40% say the high sugar content of their favorite snacks discourages them.

Enlightened Founder and CEO Micahel Shoretz said, “It can be easy to get caught up in everyday life, but even the most mundane days should have a special treat. That could be as simple as indulging in some ‘me time’ with your favorite pint of ice cream.”

According to the findings, 63% of people wish they treated themselves more frequently than they do. However, picking the ideal method and window of opportunity to treat oneself shouldn’t require making compromises.
