Fairy Tail: Hero’s Journey is a free to play browser and turn-based fantasy MMORPG based on the world, characters, and events of the long-running Fairy Tail manga. Depending on your playstyle, you can choose between 6 different characters and 3 different roles: Mage, Gunner or Magic Warrior. The Mage has long range, high power but low HP, the Gunner is much faster and can deal massive blows and the magic warrior is a beast, he has high health power and absorbs it in order to let other players deal critical hits.

“After selecting your character, you will join the Fairy Tale Guild and begin your journey.”

Graphics and Music:

The game is extremely loyal to the anime universe of Fairy Tale. Therefore, the graphics and music are a joy to the eyes and ears for the fans. The Graphics are typical anime style MMORPG but Fairy Tale has much more details than other games, placing it on another level from the rest. The music is very fun and it helps you get into the proper mood to deal a lot of damage.

Gameplay:

The game’s premier asset is its battle system. The battle system engages you to pull all of your strengths and communicate with other players in order to perform the best attacks possible. It is crucial to combine between characters in order to defeat opposing guilds and NPCs.

The Magic Warrior has a lot of Health, therefore it’s crucial to have him on board. With him taking lots of damage, the Gunner and the Mage are able to deal massive amounts of damage. Communicating with other players is the key for a successful battle.

Story:

All of your favorite character from the Fairy Tale universe appear in this fantastic MMORPG. Therefore, the storyline absorbs it’s principles from the real story. However, it’s a great way for new players to get to know the Fairy Tale Universe. You don’t have to watch the series in order to enjoy this game. On the contrary, you will probably start watching the series after playing this game.

Conclusion:
After logging triple digits of hours in Fairy Tale, I can conclude that this is a great game. I’m familiar with the Fairy Tale universe but I wasn’t a die-hard fan. I have enjoyed the game from its first moments, the graphics and music were awesome and I have enjoyed exploring the map. Once I was ready for battle I couldn’t stop, I have leveled up and the battles just kept on improving. Obviously, I have started to watch the series after playing so much in the game and I believe that you will too.
