Mazda created the CX-30 lineup to bridge the gap between the small C-3 and the larger C-5(why it wasn’t called the C-4, we would never know). It is a small SUV that conveniently satisfies any modern vehicle’s basic comfort, safety, and technology requirements.
It has a very refined interior design, with the option of having heated front seats, a moonroof, and memory and power seats for the driver. Storage in the CX-30 is decent, with moderately sized bins by the doors. The cargo space would contain most baggage. You might find that the hatchback isn’t good for taller stuff. However, they can be laid horizontally if the back seats are folded down.
The CX-30 packs a whopping 250 hp engine and can be stepped up to a turbocharged spec. It can launch from 0-60 in just 9 seconds and just over 6 seconds with the turbocharged variant.
The fuel economy is manageable with a rating of 28 MPG standard and drops with the more sophisticated variants.
