An Accredited College Degree - Online and Tuition Free

Univesity of the People (UoP) is the first free and accredited online university. It offers degrees in Business, Computer Science, Health Science and other subjects. You can complete a 2-year associate’s degree, 4-year Bachelor’s degree or an MBA, all online. This free college is recognized by the United States Department of Education, Distance Education Accrediting Commission as well as the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

UoP is a tuition-free college, but it does require a $60 Application Processing Fee. There is also a $100 Exam Processing Fee for each exam that is taken. Therefore, to complete an Associate’s Degree, which requires passing 20 exams, will cost $2000. The Bachelor’s degree program has 40 exams, costing $4000. However, UoP does offer scholarships to those who can’t afford the exams.
