You Are Going To
• Collaborate with technical and cross-functional partners to develop a vision, strategy, and comprehensive roadmap to improve the SLAs of our cloud-based streaming-as-a-service solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for a team of Redpanda Cloud distributed cloud and K8s engineers.
• Drive technical vision and lead technical design
• Contribute to our cloud’s code base
• Work with product managers and SREs to offer solutions to difficult distributed system and cloud concerns.
• Create K8s-based control planes for our multi-cloud, managed streaming-as-a-service product.
You already have
• A desire to work on highly technical projects, like K8s, public clouds, distributed systems, and event-based architecture.
• Expert knowledge of K8s, public clouds, Kafka, and Terraform
• Understand how to manage infrastructure predictably with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code.
• Working with a completely remote technical team, interacting on GitHub in the open, and being a self starter.
• Building a SaaS platform is a plus.
• Experienced in system design
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

You will have the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related discipline
• Prior sales experience Knowledge of the sales process and dynamics
• Be at ease with sales talks concerning marketing automation and marketing
• Outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities
• Outstanding interpersonal abilities, especially the ability to immediately establish relationships with prospective clients
• Competency with Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as the ability to rapidly acquire new tools (i.e. CRMs)
