Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Share an Adorable Holiday Card Featuring Baby Archie’s Face

In TV

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have something unique for Christmas; a holiday card featuring the face of their 7-month-old son, baby Archie. The charming photo shows a cute face popping up in the foreground; meanwhile, his parents are in the background.

The striking image of Archie’s face, which can only be regarded as a real star, has indeed brought the Christmas mood to many people. Harry and Meghan used the services of a longtime friend to snap the precious photo. They did not consider hiring a royal family photographer.

The tot is seen wearing a classic grey jumper, which has a polar bear at the front. Archie was born in May; hence this is his first Christmas.

“Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. From our family to yours.”

This was the message on the adorable Christmas card. Surprisingly, the card was released to the public through an unverified Twitter account, christened The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust. Usually, any communication to the public by a member of the royal family is done through the official royal channels. Additionally, it was released slightly before the queen read her Christmas day message.

Previously, Harry and Meghan have always sent hard copies of annual Christmas cards to friends and family. However, a reliable source has revealed that this year they sent the cards electronically.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are having their Christmas in Canada

Last month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex indicated that they would not be a party to the royal family. Instead, they choose Canada, where they are currently spending the Christmas holidays. They are at Sandringham Estate, which is the queen’s countryside. This also means that they did not attend the queen’s pre-Christmas lunch. Harry and Meghan have chosen to keep a low profile, perhaps because of the continuous scrutiny by the media.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate Middleton have not been left in sending to the world. The family’s 2019 Christmas card was also published on Twitter, whereby the duo pulled off a down to earth chic style. Their message was ” Here’s hoping 2020 brings even more heartwarming holiday photos from both royal houses.”
