Season four of Netflix’s TV series The Crown, which features the British Royal Family, is currently being filmed, but it seems Prince Harry does not want to be part of the show. The Crown is a fictionalized account of Queen Elizabeth’s reign as the queen of England.
Prince Harry could stop The Crown Before it gets to him
Season four of the series features Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s strained marriage and the death of the princess. In season four, Josh O’Connor, who played Prince Charles in season three, will feature with Emma Corrin as Lady Diana Spencer. Season 4 will likely depict the lives of Prince William and Prince Harry but in their baby version.
However, there are reports that Prince harry might stop the show if it tried to cover his story. According to Angela Levin, who interviewed the Prince in 2018 for the book Harry: Conversations with the Prince, he would stop the show if it focused on his private life. Angela said that the first thing the Duke of Sussex asked her when she met for the interview was whether she watches The Crown. She says that Prince Harry indicated that he would stop the series before it gets to him.
Prince William is not a fan of the show
Although it appears that Harry was joking its known that Prince William is not a fan of the show. Prince Harry and his wife Meghan had watched the show in the early days of their relationship. Olivia Colman, who features as Queen Elizabeth II, said that when she met Prince William in November, the Prince admitted that he doesn’t watch the show.
For Prince Harry, there is no need to worry because it seems to lie Netflix will not be bringing the show up to date. While speaking to BBC, executive producer Suzanne Mackie confirmed that whatever the life of The Crown is after the now is not certain, but they will not be going into the present day. She added that they will possibly not travel into the present day.
