A new study has found that most Americans are falling in love with the “dad bod.” According to a survey, six in ten people are falling in love with “dad bod.”

Men should not worry if they dint have a six-pack

No concerns for those who can’t seem to obtain that chiseled six-pack! Do you have a slim physique but wish you could drop five or ten pounds? That’s not an issue! According to a survey of more than 1,100 Americans conducted by Advanced Dermatology, 70% of women said they like the dad bod. The same is true for almost half of the men (49%).

Furthermore, 61% think dad bods are appealing, and 49% think they’re simply sexy. Are you hesitant to remove your top at the beach? Do not be away! Forty-seven percent of people said they like a guy with a dad bod more than one who is extremely muscular. One in every five Americans refers to the dad bod as the “new six-pack.”

Is having a dad bod a bad thing?

Nearly three-quarters of individuals (73%) believe that a dad bod suggests that someone is still athletic but has gained a few pounds. Approximately the same amount of people believe those with a dad bod remain healthy in general. The majority of Americans (93%) think they don’t judge males with a dad bod.

There is additional good news for males seeking to woo a person of the other sex this summer when it pertains to finding a date. Whereas 74% of males believe that a person’s physique type influences their attraction, only 57% of women agree.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was an increase in men with dad bods, it is not just guys who are gaining weight. According to the survey, 77% of all participants agree their physical appearance has deteriorated in the past two years. In reality, 75% of men and 79% of women report to having acquired the “COVID-15.” At the height of the pandemic, one-third of men say they developed a dad bod.
