Here are some of the best upcoming games to expect in 2021:
- GHOSTWIRE: TOKYO
Just as the title suggests, this is a game set in Tokyo but a version where almost all human life has disappeared and the city is overrun by ghosts. Not much has been released about the storyline but the trailer reveals that the protagonist will be using martial arts and magic to fight the ghosts in an attempt to save Tokyo. The trailer promises to deliver an impressive and unique story full of action and visual appeal.
- Far Cry 6
The Far Cry franchise has been a fan favorite and the latest offering from the franchise promises to be better than before. Giancarlo Esposito has a history of pulling off great villain characters. He will be the main villain in Far Cry 6 in which he plays a dictator that runs a Caribbean island. The storyline features protagonists trying to lead a revolution against the dictator in an attempt to bring down his reign. Its trailer is quite chilling and it gives a brief preview of Esposito’s character’s hunger for power.
- GRAN TURISMO 7
If you are a fan of racing sim games, you’re in luck because GT7 is coming. From extremely life-like sceneries, beautiful roads, realistic vehicles and amazing graphics, this racing game promises to deliver a racing game experience like never before. Unfortunately, there are reports that the game will only be available for the PS4 and the PS5.
-
Scorn
This one if for those that are fans of horror games but only for those that can stomach its visuals. Nevertheless, the protagonist is trying to survive in what seems to be an unusual alien ship. Even the weapon is unusual and seems to be made of organic materials. Perhaps check out the trailer before deciding if this one is for you, but it promises to deliver a bone-chilling experience. This first-person shooter will be a cross-platform title.
